Abstract

1393007 Crates SARVIS OY 4 April 1972 [7 April 1972] 15495/72 Heading B8P A moulded bottle crate of synthetic resin has apertures 9 in the two opposite longitudinal sides and in the partitions parallel thereto so that when the crates are stacked on their sides, one upon the other, the bottle ends extend partly through the holes and the bottles are inclined at about 8-15 degrees to the horizontal. This prevents the bottles from falling out of the open fronts of the stacked crates. Handholes 5 are provided in the crate sides and the base is of a grid-like form. Compartments are formed of the usual transverse and longitudinal partitions. Ribs strengthen the edges of the apertures 9 and also strengthen the upper and lower edges of the crate. Connectors 12 fix the crates together when stacked one on another or side-by-side.
