.Al.5.5 - 7.5% .Sn.1.5 - 2.5% .Mo.0.7 - 1.3% .V.0.7 - 2.3% the balance, apart from incidental elements and impurities (e.g. up to 0.5% in total of O, N and C), being titanium. The alloy may rolled to form plate may be annealed at 1750 DEG F. or 1400 DEG F. followed by air cooling.
