Abstract

1,061,218. Marking-instruments. PLATIGNUM PEN CO. Oct. 8, 1964 [Feb. 21, 1964], No. 41124/64. Heading B6P. A writing utensil comprises a disposable writing tip including a holder 3 and an elongated writing element 4 of felt or the like held functionally in the bore of the holder. Body portions 1, 2 of the utensil are secured together by a member 7, and the holder 3 is screwed into the portion 2. An ink feed control member 6 is held in the body 2 resting on the member 7, and comprises coaxially spaced discs and spaces 14, a longitudinal bore 11 accommodating the element 4, capillary grooves connecting the bore 11 to grooves 14, and an extension 15 which engages in the open end of a replaceable ink reservoil 9 disposed in the body 1. The end of the reservoir is originally closed by a ball 10 which is dis placed by the extension 15.
