Abstract

1,237,043. Reservoir pens. SOC. LE FOYER. 6 June, 1969 [18 Feb., 1969; 2 April, 1969], No. 28681/69. Heading B6P. [Also in Division A4] A felt nib marking instrument is provided with an interchangeable tip member 60 having a split nib or a ball point (Fig. 8). A bore 72 in the rear of the feed-bar 67 co-operates with the tip of the felt nib and has one or more capillary grooves extending between the bore 72 and the underside of the nib. In (Fig. 8), the axial passage in the ball head contains a stem 125 of synthetic sponge having a high coefficient of swelling and which extends between the tip of the felt nib and the rear of the ball.
