Laminar springs.-A spring suspension for road vehicles comprises a lever pivoted at D, Fig, 3, and having a resilient arm E connected to the vehicle frame, and a rigid arm C, which carries at its end a wheel spindle or is attached to one end of an axle casing. The end of the resilient arm is preferably slidingly connected to the frame by a member I mounted on guides 0, V and provided with stops K, L, so that the resilience of all the springs may be adjusted simultaneously by moving the members I. Casings X may be provided, and the joint between the arm C and the end of the axle casing may comprise a spherical bush A', Fig. 4, on the axle casing, dust-proof felt washers B<1>, spring steel washers C<1>, and a nut E<1>.
