Equalizing load on wheels and springs; springs, mounting bodies on.-In automobiles and other vehicles, each spring is interposed between the axle and a single lever which is pivoted to the frame of the vehicle, the free ends of the levers being connected together by means mounted on the frame so that movements of one lever are communicated to the other. Fig. 2 shows an automobile having its springs 11 connected to levers 9, which are pivoted to the vehicle frame at 10, and are connected at their inner ends to a short lever 15 pivoted to the frame at 16. The lever 15 may be replaced by a pinion gearing with segments formed on the ends of the levers 9
