1347109 Motor vehicle rear suspensions CHRYSLER FRANCE 13 July 1971 32888/71 Heading B7D A motor vehicle rear suspension comprises an open-V-shaped axle member E linked by longitudinal suspension arms b1, b2 to a frame crossmember T, a differential gear D supported by the cross-member T, and a hinge device which connects the axle member E to the crossmember T and comprises a resilient metal plate L and a block S2 of resilient material. The differential gear 2 is connected by resilient blocks S1 to the arms 21, 22 of a member P on the cross-member T, and a drive-shaft 12 is supported on the cross-member by a bearing 13. Springs R1, R2 and dampers A1, A2 are connected between the axle member E and the vehicle frame.
