Springs, mounting bodies on. - Relates to means for mounting semi - elliptic springs for vehicles, of the type in which the ends of the spring are mounted on links pivoted to the axle and frame respectively, and consists in connecting the links to the centre of the semielliptic spring by an additional pair of links. Fig. 1 shows an arrangement in which the ends of the semi-elliptic or bow spring b are attached to levers c, which are connected by short links g, n with the frame and centre portion of the spring respectively. Fig. 2 shows a similar arrangement but in which the ends of the spring b are connected to the levers e by links h. Fig. 4 shows an arrangement similar to that shown in Fig. 1, but in which the links e are replaced by semi-elliptic springs o.
