Springs, arrangement of and mounting bodies and undercarriages on.-Relates to spring-suspension devices for vehicles, of the kind in which horizontally-arranged tension-springs are mounted between two links each hinged to the axle at one end and linked to the frame at the other end. The invention consists in the particular arrangement of parts shown and described. Links s, t are pivotally connected to the vehicle axle o through a block m, and are also connected to brackets on the vehicle frame by links l, n. The links s, t carry brackets i, j fixed at right-angles to the links by struts u, v, and between the brackets are arranged adjustable tension-springs p, q, r mounted on screwed spindles, which are pivoted at p<2> to the brackets and carry nuts which may be adjusted so that the springs act successively when the axle and frame approach under road shocks.
