Frame components, forms of.-In a motorvehicle in which the end C of the frame projects beyond the point of attachment B of the spring A, the end is supported by a compression strut E and pillar D. An additional strut F may be used to support the pillar D. The centre of the frame may be provided with pillars G, which are connected to the frame by ties J, K and connected together by a tie H. The lower ends of the pillars are connected across the frame by members L. The spring shackles, the brake shafts, the mud-guard stays, and the supports for the running-boards are preferably carried by the pillars G which are adjacent the forward ends of the rear springs A.
