Spring aevices.-A spring frame for motor-cycles and other road vehicles with a single rear wheel comprises a pair of side plates or pressings 1 connected together by a cross-member 3 and by the rear-axle spindle 5, and adapted to rock about fixed bearings under the control of a spring 12 anchored to the side-members or cross-member. A mud-guard 15 and bars 16 for the attachment of a seat or luggage-carrier are supported by bars 14 and plates 6.
