Abstract
1,053,969. Thermal switches. CALOR APPAREILS - ELECTRO - DOMESTIQUES. Aug. 4, 1964 [Feb. 21, 1964], No. 31230/64. Heading H2B. A bimetal 1 actuates switch contacts 4, 7 on blades 3, 6, via a C-shaped snap spring 5 and a flexible control member 2 having its free end 2b bent at right-angles towards the bimetal. The end 1a of a bimetal 1 engages a slot 16 in the bent end 2b in an automatic resetting embodiment (Figs. 5-10, not shown). As shown the switch is manually reset via a button 15, Fig. 2 (Fig. 3, not shown). The members 1, 2, 3, 6 are mounted in a stack 8 with insulating spacers 9, 10, 11 as necessary. Blade 3 has a blade stop 3a, and bimetal 1 has an adjustment screw 14 on a member 13, also secured in the stack support 8. Spacer 10 has a lateral projection 10a for mounting purposes (Figs. 1, 4, not shown).
