Abstract

1,032,026. Self-wringing sponge mops. BETTERWEAR PRODUCTS Ltd. April 29, 1964, No. 17815/64. Addition to 1,022,237. Heading A4F. The sponge mop described in the parent Specification is modified in that the sponge is provided with at least two studs formed integralliy with a strip adhered to the sponge, each stud being adapted to engage in an aperture in the mop head. As illustrated each stud 6 comprises two projections 7 formed integrally with a strip 9 and each having a rebated or inwardly curved surface 8 for engagement with a side of the aperture in the head portion 11. The studs 6 and strips 9 may be formed of a resilient plastics material, e.g. polystyrene.
