Abstract

920,057. Sponge mops. BETTERWEAR PRODUCTS Ltd. Dec. 22, 1961, No. 46103/61. Addition to 819,299. Class 19. The sponge mop disclosed in the parent Specification is modified by replacing the flexible material secured between the two blocks and the sponge by means for releasably attaching the sponge to the blocks, said means comprising at least two studs 15 secured to the sponge 14 and adapted to be engaged in holes 16 in the blocks 9 and 13 (not shown). The studs 15 are anchored to the sponge 14 by strips 18 of flexible plastics material secured by adhesive to the sponge 4. The illustrated embodiment also includes features of the mops disclosed in Specifications 833,138 and 918,539.
