Abstract

1,024,825. Salt-lick holders. F. H. BEYEA. March 5, 1963, No. 8802/63. Heading A1M. A salt lick holder comprises a base 24, a back portion 32 formed with a semicircular indentation 26 adapted to fit against a pipe, and side pieces 21, 22 provided with horizontal ridges 23 engagable in grooves 13 in the salt block 10. The back portion 32 has semi-circular strips extending therefrom which secure the holder in position by frictional engagement with the pipe. The holder is formed of a resilient plastics material.
