Abstract

1,028,024. Folding underframes. C.R.P. TRADE PRODUCTIONS Ltd. Nov. 6, 1962 [Feb. 28, 1962], No. 7878/62. Heading A4H. A leg 13, pivoted at 14 to fold against the underside of a table top 7, is locked in the erected position by means of a latch pin 16 which falls to the lower end of slot 15. To fold the leg, the table is inverted to return pin 16 to the opposite end of the stop 15. In the erected position, the leg 13 rests against the height portion 6 joining the side plates 5 of a bracket having attachment flanges 10. Pairs of legs at the ends of a bench or table may be joined in U-form, the base of the U resting on the ground.
