Abstract

844,615. Tables &c. SEBEL & CO. Ltd., D. Aug. 21, 1957 [Aug. 21, 1956], No. 25478/56. Class 52(3) In a table, seat or the like in which pairs of legs 6 joined by cross-braces 7 are pivoted 10, 11 to the table &c. top and are held in extended position by engagement of the cross-braces 7 in bights 13 of a leaf-spring 12 and in folded position by the leaf-spring 12 as shown in Fig. 2, the leaf-spring is locked in the folded position by buckles 18 pivoted to the table &c. top and taking over hooked ends 19 of the leaf-spring. The leafspring extends to both ends of the table &c. and is welded to a bar 15, 16 welded to the table &c. top, buckles 18 also being pivoted to the bar. The legs are pivoted to U-shaped channels 3 secured detachably by nuts and bolts 5, 4 to the side flanges 2 of the table &c. top.
