Abstract

766,898. Tables &c. HART, A. April 21, 1955 [April 21, 1954], No. 11443/54. Class 52 (3). A collapsible table, stool or the like has two pairs of legs 24 joined by cross-bars 25, 26, arranged in a cross with tenons 27 at the tops of the legs engaging recesses associated with the table top 10. The table top 10 has at its centre a bolt 22 which passes through the upper cross-bars and is secured by a nut 23, and is provided with blocks 7 having recesses 18 into which tenons 27, at the tops of the legs 24, fit. The bolt 22 is carried by a swivel mounting 21 so that it may be laid flat against the underside of the table top for packing or storage. The table may have a lower shelf 31 engaging recesses in the legs 24.
