Breech actions, sliding breech-block; firing-appliances a p p l i c a b l e generally. - Consists in making the firing-pin of a rifle or other small-arm in two parts 37, 39 joined together by a halved overlapping joint and a sleeve 41. The overlapping parts are notched to prevent endlong movement. The sleeve abuts against an enlargement 40 on the forward part, and the firing-spring 43 bears against the sleeve.
