Abstract

1,025,628. Cable and wire terminals. STEELWELD Ltd. Oct. 15, 1964 [Nov. 7, 1963], No. 44033/63. Heading H2E. A terminal assembly for a stranded wire conductor comprises a terminal lug 2 having a supporting flexible insulating sleeve 4 of rubber or plastics moulded around the cable near the lug 2. The lug has a flared inner end which merges into the end of the moulded sleeve which tapers from there and is reduced to nothing as it enters the end of hose 3 which loosely surrounds the cable to permit air circulation for cooling.
