1,091,135. Moulding electric cable. SUMI TOMO ELECTRIC INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 15, 1965 [Oct. 5, 1964]. No. 39356/65. Heading B5A. A stress cone or condenser bushing C is moulded adjacent an end of an electric cable 1. by winding the insulated cable with plastics tape 2, surrounding the cone or bushing with a contractible tube 3, evacuating the space therebetween via an outlet 8, and heating the assembly within an electrically heated chamber 5 whereby the tube comes into close contact with the cone or bushing.
