Abstract

1,021,826. Spray - producers. KARRIER WEBER & CIE A.G. ARMATURENFABRIK UND METALLGIESSEREI. Dec. 11, 1962 [Dec. 14, 1961], No. 46713/63. Heading B2F. [Also in Division F2] In a water spray and jet regulator, the aerated jet is formed by the water inlet from passageway 3 which passes through tubular metal filter 13 and holes 6a and mixes with air drawn by the suction thereof through annular openings 16b before discharging through a screen 17. The outlet at 17 is valved upon axial movement of closure member 11 on spindle 7 to engage valve seat 15b whereupon the water is diverted via the passageway 14a to issue as a spray from openings 16b. The valve spindle 7 slides in upper and lower bearings 5 and 6 respectively and seals within the former by an O-ring 9 carried within a groove on spindle 7 and seating against shoulder 89 of the bearing in the open position of the valve. The casing 1, integral handle 2 and the control knob 10 are of plastics.
