Zufolge der starren Verbindung zwischen Vän- tilschliesskörper, Stange und Griffknopf und.der ein fachen Schiebelagerung der Stange fallen alle durch eventuelle Kalkablagerungen ,aus dem Wasser gefähr dete Gewindeführungen weg ;
In der gezeichneten Offenlage des Ventilschliess- körpers 11 gelangt das Wasser ,aus der Bohrung 3 im Handgriff durch das Sieb 13 in .den Durchlass des Gehäuses 1 und strömt durch die Löcher 6a im Lager 6 ;
es erzeugt im Kanal 14a ein Vakuum, so dass durch die Bohrungen 16b Luft angesaugt wird, welche sich mit dem Wasser mischt, worauf dieses als sauerstoffgesättigter weicher Strahl durch das Sieb 17 austritt. Durch Niederdrücken des Grif- fes 10 wird die Stange 7 axial verschoben und dabei der Ventilschhesskörper 11 auf seinen Sitz 15b ge drückt ;
Water outflow mouthpiece for: roll jet and shower The main patent relates to a water outflow mouthpiece for full jet and shower, which has an axially displaceable valve closing body that interacts with a valve seat in the mouthpiece opening and can be actuated by means of a rotatable, axially fixed spindle,
wherein the passage downstream of the valve seat has a central jet outlet which is surrounded by an annular shower outlet connected to the passage upstream of the valve seat by a backflow channel, the outlet opening of which is completely separated from that of the jet outlet.
The axial displacement of the valve closing body is thus carried out by a spindle that can be operated by means of a rotary handle. This type of construction has several disadvantages; they are on the one hand that the handling of the twist grip is cumbersome; it usually takes more than one turn to move the spindle from one end position to the other; However, intermediate positions are practically not used.
On the other hand, threads are required on the spindle and on its guide; the construction is therefore relatively expensive. Even if the guide space of the threaded head of the spindle is sealed abge on the water side, you can hardly achieve an absolute seal of this space; However, calcium deposits can clog the thread, which can make handling of the mouthpiece difficult or even impossible.
The present invention avoids the disadvantages mentioned. For this purpose, the mouthpiece according to the invention is characterized in that the rod carrying the valve closing body at its downstream end is guided axially displaceably upstream of the return flow channel in two spaced apart bearings in the housing and by a knob attached to it outside the housing
can be actuated, the rod part lying between the two bearings by a. between these bearings, the rod coaxially surrounding the rod at a radial distance from .the water inlet of the. Housing passage is shielded, and the annular space of the passage between the rod and the strainer through axial openings in the downstream bearing with the valve passage in connection stands.
As a result of the rigid connection between valve closing body, rod and handle knob and the simple sliding bearing of the rod, all thread guides that are at risk from the water due to calcium deposits are eliminated;
Narrow, dead spaces, in which such deposits that make the mouthpiece difficult to operate, can also form and, for example, in the example shown in the main patent between the upstream spindle bearing and the threaded head of the spindle, are completely eliminated, since the the end part of the rod carrying the handle head is led out of the housing immediately after the upstream bearing.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
The housing 1 of the mouthpiece, shown in axial section and which can be switched from jet to shower, forms one piece with a handle 2 that also serves as a supply pipe. Parts 1 and 2 are made of plastic. In the continuous hollow space of the housing 1, in which the bore 3 of the handle 2 opens, a metal sleeve 4 is used.
In one end part of the sleeve 4 a connector 5 protruding from the housing 1 is screwed; the other end part of the sleeve 4 is provided with an inner annular flange 6. The connecting piece 5 and the annular flange 6 form the two spaced guide bearings of an axially displaceable rod 7.
The Lagerboh tion 8 of the locking piece 5 is expanded somewhat to the outside by an offset; A concave rounded shoulder 8a is formed at this offset. In a circumferential groove of the spindle 7 there is an O-ring 9 which, in cooperation with the wall of the drilling 8, seals the housing passage to the outside.
The end part of the rod 7 protruding outward from the locking piece 5 carries a knob 10, with means of which the rod 7 can be axially adjusted in the direction of the double arrow cc. The end part of the rod 7 which protrudes beyond the bearing flange 6 of the bushing 4 is provided with a thread onto which a valve closing body 11 is screwed.
Between tween the two bearings 5 and 6 is a rod 7 with a radial distance coaxially enclosing metal sieve 13 clamped, which serves as a filter for the water inflow from the bore 3 into the valve passage. The annular space 12 created between the rod and the sieve is connected to the valve passage via a ring of holes 6a in the bearing.
Radially outside of these holes 12, the bushing 4 has an annular flange 4a which protrudes into an expanded housing space 14. A shower head 15 is attached to the housing part forming this hollow space 14.
This shower head 15 has a sleeve part 15a which protrudes into the enlarged housing cavity and which surrounds the annular flange 4a of the sleeve 4 with its free edge, forming a return flow channel 14a which is annular in cross section. A with the sleeve part 15a one piece forming from senring 16 has a screwed into the housing 1 threaded flange 16a and is provided with a plurality of distributed over its circumference angeord designated holes 16b.
The annular space delimited by the outer surface of the sleeve part 15a and the inner surface of the housing 1 forms the shower outlet of the mouthpiece, the shower outlet opening being formed by the entirety of the holes 16b. The inner surface of the sleeve part 15a has a shoulder 15b that forms a valve seat.
The valve closing body 11 screwed onto the threaded end part of the rod 7 interacts with this valve seat 15b. The narrowed passage part located downstream of the valve seat 15b forms the jet outlet of the mouthpiece.
In the example shown, a sieve 17 is built into this jet outlet that distributes the exiting jet and removes its hardness.
In the open position of the valve closing body 11 shown, the water passes from the bore 3 in the handle through the sieve 13 into the passage of the housing 1 and flows through the holes 6a in the bearing 6;
it creates a vacuum in the channel 14a, so that air is sucked in through the bores 16b, which mixes with the water, whereupon this emerges through the sieve 17 as a soft, oxygen-saturated jet. By pressing down the handle 10, the rod 7 is displaced axially and the valve closing element 11 is pressed onto its seat 15b;
the connection between the jet outlet and the inlet part of the housing passage is thereby interrupted. The water accumulating above the valve closing body 11 now passes through the return flow channel 14a into the radially outer shower outlet and there leaves the mouthpiece through the holes 16b as a shower. Since only a relatively small stroke of the valve closing body 11 is necessary, the neces sary displacement path of the rod 7 is accordingly small.
The locking of the rod 7 in its upper end position is achieved by the O-ring 9 sliding over the shoulder 8a. This J is also locked in the intermediate positions of the rod by the O-ring pressing against the wall of the bore.
In addition, the radial surfaces of the rod accessible to the water are dimensioned in such a way that when the valve is open, the water pushes the rod upwards in the sense of opening the valve.
In certain cases. it may be desirable to also use the jet outlet to create a shower. With the described mouthpiece this is possible because
that the valve closing body is pressed close to its seat 15b and the flow remaining between the valve closing body and valve seat is throttled so far that only a small part of the inflowing water leaves the mouthpiece through the jet outlet as an air-mixed soft jet (bead nozzle) through the sieve 17,
while the main part of the water reaches the shower outlet in the manner described via the backflow channel 14a due to the damming effect.
The handle knob 10 is suitably made of plastic; this prevents the operating parts of the mouthpiece from getting hot when operating with hot water.
