Abstract

1,020,240. Spray carburetters. GURTNER S.A. Nov. 16, 1962 [Jan. 10, 1962], No. 43377/62. Heading FIB. In a carburetter having nozzles 15, 17, opening into separate intake passages 8-10 which are brought into operation in succession by opening of the throttle valve 4, the nozzles are fed through a single jet 12 and aerating air is supplied partly through an opening 14 and partly through any nozzle which is not in operation. The jet 12 opens into an aerating passage 13 into which the nozzles open through jets 20-22. In a modification each nozzle has a separate aerating inlet 14.
