Abstract

1,017,821. Trunking. POWER CENTRE CO. Ltd. June 14, 1962 [June 15, 1961], No. 21579/61. Heading H2C. Trunking formed by an elongate metal channel as in Fig. 5 is closed by resilient engagement of a closure strip 8. For attaching components to the trunking a bridging piece 13 (Fig. 6) is provided which comprises parallel clip portions 19, disposed on either side of a bolt head 21, and spaced apart so that the bridge-piece may be inserted in the channel and then rotated 90 degrees to engage the clip portions 19 with protuberances 7 of the channel walls. The trunking may be supported (Fig. 8, not shown) by a U-shaped suspension member, the inturned free ends of which engage the recesses behind the protuberances 7 of the channel walls wherein a panel supporting clip (Fig. 10, not shown) may also be provided to support a ceiling panel.
