Abstract

1,006,171. Rope railways. HEINRICH SCHARF G.m.b.H. Jan. 9, 1964 [June 19, 1963], No. 1012/64. Heading B7L. In a railway system wherein the vehicle is hauled by a cable 12, the cable is guided between rollers 13 mounted on spindles 16 and having abutting flanges 14 and 15, the upper flanges 15 being each mounted on three springs 18 whereby they are deflected by the passage of the cable securing device 10, 11. Alternatively, only one upper flange 15 may be deflectable, or the cable guides may comprise one roller with a deflectable flange 15 and fixed flange 14 and one plain roller.
