Abstract
1,005,085. Hot water supply and heating systems. THOMAS DAVISON Ltd. June 18, 1962 [March 26, 1962], No. 11412/62. Heading F4A. In a hot water system for supplying hot water for space heating and also for washing and other purposes, an inner vessel 8 has vertically spaced connections 12, 13 at its lower part to a boiler (not shown) to facilitate a flow of hot water to and from the boiler through the lower part of the vessel and also has a connection 14 at its upper part to a header tank 16 via a pipe 15 which serves both as a vent pipe and a feedpipe, the inner vessel 8 being disposed within an outer container 1 connected via a pipe 6 to a domestic hot water supply system. The vessel 8 heats the water in the outer container which is supplied from a tank 4 via a pipe 3. Spaced vertical pipes 11 in the vessel 8 enable water in the outer container to flow therethrough. The space-heating circuit (not shown) is connected to the boiler.
