Abstract

1352528 Water heaters NORMAN GLEDHILL & CO Ltd 22 Jan 1973 [22 Oct 1971] 49276/71 Heading F4A In a water heating apparatus water is supplied to and removed from a vessel 10 through delivery (33) and outlet (34) fittings respectively and a central flue 14 extends through the vessel to communicate with a central aperture in a domed base 13 of the vessel beneath which a burner assembly 19 and heating ring 24 are disposed, the heating ring 24 being connected to a heat exchange coil 31 surrounding the flue 14 and to a supply pipe (not shown) leading to a central heating system. An alternative arrangement is described in the Specification (Fig. 4, not shown) wherein the heating ring includes a double coil. A thermostat 23 positioned in a heating flow pipe 28 controls a burner control valve (not shown).
