A rotary body 1 having trannions 1a,1b is mounted on adjustable auxiliary bearings 2a, 2b in the dynamic balancing machine A, the bearings 2a, 2b, being adjusted, such as by loosening conical sleeves 10 and adjusting eccentric rings 12,13, until the axis of rotation 1c coincides with the main inertia axis of the body 1. Machining is then carried out for the operational bearings at points 3a, 3b, adjacent the bearings 2a, 2b, whilst the body 1 is rotating on the auxiliary bearings 2a, 2b about the balance axis 1c Specification 757,765 is referred to.
