Abstract

The piercing pin 6 of a gas cylinder discharge device as claimed in the parent Specification is integral with a piston 13 reciprocably mounted between the pin 6 and a plunger 9 having a spigot 18 in abutment therewith; compressed air being admissable through a port 15 to the space between piston 13 and a piston 16 secured to the plunger 9 for displacing piston 13 against a spring 14 to actuate the pin 6. Manual displacement of piston 13 and pin 6 is effected by pulling an end cap 19 thereby actuating a lever 18 having a cam surface abutting plunger 9. Specification 991,254 also is referred to.
