Abstract

SCAFFOLDING GUARD MOUNTABLE FROM A

LOWER LEVEL USING A POLE [001] The invention relates to the field of scaffolding, and more particularly to scaffolding railings.

A scaffold comprises, in general, two scales comprising uprights, vertical with respect to a laying plane of the scaffold, and horizontal bars connecting the uprights, these scales being opposite and kept apart one of the other by plates, bases or diagonals.

The plates, bases and diagonals include ends which engage with the bars and / or with the uprights, in a horizontal plane in the case of the plates, or bases, and in an oblique plane in the case of the diagonals .

Scaffolding is essential work equipment for working at height, in particular in the building and public works sector. By offering the possibility of access at height, they allow users to carry out, for example, work on facades, ceilings, frames, or roofs. However, scaffolding can be the cause of a large number of accidents at work, in particular related to the fall in height of a person.

In France, the labor code (Art R. 4323-58 to R. 4323-61) specifies that work at height must be carried out from a work station designed, installed or equipped so as to guarantee worker safety. In addition, the workstation must be protected by guardrails, limiting the risk of falls. Thus, each open side of the scaffolding must comprise at least two beams arranged one above the other, as well as a plinth, under the two beams, to form a fall protection when the operator is positioned on the platform. The healds can be formed in a single piece, allowing the production of a railing, or else be in the form of two separate parts, each of the healds then being mounted separately by the user.

However, the question arises of the safety of the scaffolding during assembly and / or disassembly. Indeed, positioning the platform prior to the installation of the railings has the consequence of constituting a work station having open sides, without fall protection. In order to avoid such a situation, it is known to design scaffolding by defining an assembly method allowing the user to remain constantly in a secure situation. Concretely, the scaffolding is designed to allow the assembly of all the elements located at a higher level from a secure work station located at a lower level. Such a principle is designated by the expression "Safe Assembly and Disassembly" (MDS).

The application of such a concept to the assembly of the scaffolding and to the securing of the work station consists in the installation of the railings before the platform in question. However, the supposed workstation of the user is generally located at least three meters high, above the ground or relative to a lower level platform. In such conditions, the difficulty of access and the weight of the railing are obstacles to the installation of the railing in height, before the installation of the platform.

In order to alleviate such problems, it is known to produce railings having a sufficiently large vertical dimension to allow them to be pushed upwards to hooks, arranged outside the uprights, provided for fix the railings. However, the installation of such railings is complex, and requires the user to hoist the railing in height, then to position it on the hooks. Such a movement turns out to be not very ergonomic, and likely to be at the origin of musculoskeletal disorder. In addition, the use of simple hooks causes play when the guardrails are in place, which does not give a feeling of security to the user, and is therefore not satisfactory.

French patent application FR 2922928 (CDH Group) describes a scaffolding implementing a mounting of a heddle according to the MDS concept. The rail has hooks at its ends, each hook being able to come into engagement with a bar, and is provided with a locking member, actuable by means of a pole.

[010] However, the use of two separate rails to form a barrier is restrictive, and affects the overall time for mounting the scaffolding. In addition, the use of two beams complicates the installation of the crosspieces, which nevertheless make it possible to increase the feeling of security for the user.

The present invention proposes to address the aforementioned drawbacks.

[012] A first objective is to propose a railing capable of being mounted in height, from a lower level.

A second objective is to provide such a railing, offering an assembly according to an ergonomic movement, and a reduced assembly time.

A third objective is to provide such a railing, which when placed on a scaffold, gives a feeling of security to the user.

A fourth objective is to propose an assembly comprising a railing as presented above and a pole intended to allow its mounting.

A fifth objective is to propose a scaffolding comprising an assembly as presented above.

[017] To this end, it is proposed, firstly, a scaffolding railing intended to be placed in a longitudinal plane between a vertical upright of a first scale and a second scale, each of ladders being provided with transverse bars, the railing comprising a frame, a first substantially longitudinal arm connected to the frame, the first arm being provided with a first fixing means capable of allowing the first arm to be hung on a bar of the first ladder, the first fixing means comprising an opening able to allow the reception of a handling means intended to move the railing and actuate the first fixing means, the railing comprising a second substantially longitudinal arm connected to the frame, vertically offset from the first arm, the arms being arranged on either side of the frame, the second arm being intended to rest on a bar of the second I scale when the railing is installed between studs.

Various additional characteristics can be provided, alone or in combination:

- the railing comprises a third arm and fourth arm, connected to the frame, arranged on either side of the frame, respectively in the same direction as the first arm and the second arm, respectively having a length substantially equal to the length of the first arm and the second arm;

- the railing comprises a fastening device, comprising a fixed part, intended to be fixed to a free end of the third arm and / or of the fourth arm, and a movable part pivoting relative to the fixed part, the movable part comprising a curved section in the direction of the reinforcement;

the movable part is mounted as a pivot sliding within the fixed part, the attachment device comprises a compression return element, disposed between the mobile part, and the fixed part, the fixed part being provided with a face of contact having reliefs complementary to cavities arranged on a connecting surface formed on the curved section;

- The curved section includes a semicircular profile, intended to come to marry an amount, and a straight section, intended to come into contact with the amount.

[019] Secondly, an assembly is proposed comprising:

- a guardrail as presented above,

- A handling means having a dimension making it suitable for being inserted into the opening, the handling means allowing the movement of the railing and the actuation of the first means of fixing the railing.

It is proposed, thirdly, a scaffolding comprising a vertical upright of a first scale, and a vertical upright of a second scale, the ladders each comprising at least two bars extending transversely, the scaffolding comprises a set as presented above.

According to one embodiment, the handling means is a diagonal provided with a stud, the stud having a dimension less than the opening, the diagonal allowing the making of a bracing between the uprights of the first scale and the second scale.

[022] It is proposed, fourthly, a method of setting up a scaffolding railing as presented above, comprising:

a step of introducing the manipulation means into the opening,

a step of positioning the second arm on a lower bar of the amount of the second scale, so as to rest the second arm on the lower bar of the second scale,

a step of pivoting the railing around the second arm, by means of the handling means so as to rest the first arm on an upper bar of the first scale,

a step of actuating the first fixing means,

a step of actuating the second fixing means and the attachment devices.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear more clearly and concretely on reading the following description of embodiments, which is made with reference to the appended drawings in which:

As shown, the scaffolding 1 is intended to be used for any type of work at height, indoors or outdoors.

Such scaffolding 1 finds, for example, applications for carrying out work in the building sector or in industry.

[027] The scaffolding 1 is a temporary, and removable structure, to facilitate its movement, or its storage.

The scaffolding 1 is a foot or fixed scaffolding, or a rolling scaffolding.

[029] In the embodiment shown, the scaffolding 1 is assembled, but is not folding. Only a disassembly piece by piece allows its removal from the intervention site, for storage or for a move to another intervention site.

According to other embodiments, not shown, the scaffolding 1 is folding, so as to improve its speed of uninstallation.

[031] The scaffolding 1 comprises in particular a first ladder 2, and a second ladder 3, each of the ladders 2, 3 forming a lateral side 4 of the scaffolding 1.

Each of the scales 2, 3 comprises two uprights 5, interconnected by at least one upper bar 6 and a lower bar 7. The uprights 5 of the first scale 2 and the second scale 3 opposite are coplanar, and together form in pairs a front side 8 of the scaffolding 1.

[034] Ladders 2, 3 include enough transverse bars 6, 7 to allow access to a platform 9 in height which forms a work station for the user.

[035] As shown in FIG. 1, the platform 9 is supported on a bar of the first scale 2, and a bar of the second scale 3.

In other words, the platform 9 connects the ladders 2, 3, the work station thus formed is delimited by the lateral 4 sides, closed by the ladders 2, 3, and the 8 frontal sides, intended to be each protected by a guardrail 10.

We define with respect to the scaffolding 1, an orthogonal coordinate system XYZ forming a direct trihedron, comprising three perpendicular axes two by two, namely:

- an X axis, defining a longitudinal, horizontal direction,

- a Y axis, defining a transverse, horizontal direction, which with the X axis defines a horizontal XY plane,

- an axis Z, defining a vertical direction, perpendicular to the horizontal XY plane, and merged with a general direction of extension of the upright 5 of the scaffolding 1.

[038] In the embodiment shown, the first scale 2 and the second scale 3 are identical, so that each of the bars of the first scale 2 is opposite each of the bars 6, 7 of the same level of the second scale 3.

[039] In order to keep the ladders 2, 3 vertical with respect to a support plane, to ensure the stability of the scaffolding 1 and the safety of the users, the scaffolding 1 comprises at least one bracing device.

[040] In the embodiment shown, the bracing device comprises molds (not shown), and diagonals 11.

[041] The molds generally extend in a longitudinal direction and connect the first scale 2 and the second scale 3 to each other.

[042] The molds thus make it possible to reinforce the structure of the scaffolding 1, and maintain the spacing between the uprights 5 of the ladders 2, 3, in particular when the platform 9 is not yet disposed on the ladders 2, 3 .

[043] The diagonals 11 are arranged obliquely between the scales 2, 3, on the front 8 sides of the scaffolding 1. Thus disposed, the diagonals make a bracing of the uprights 5, reinforcing the stability of the scaffolding 1.

[044] The diagonals 11 have end portions 12, each of them being provided with a protruding lug 13. When the scaffolding 1 is assembled, the tenons 13 are inserted within the tulipages 14 of the bars 6, 7. The diagonals 11 thus extend in a vertical plane formed by the uprights 5 of the two scales 2, 3 facing each other. -screw.

[046] In the position of use, as shown in FIG. 1, the railing 10 is assembled and fixed between two ladders 2, 3, on a front side 8 of the scaffolding 1. The railing 10 is located at a level making it possible to constitute an obstacle, and therefore to protect a user located on the work station constituted by the platform 9 from a fall.

[047] In Figures 2 to 5, the railing 10 is illustrated during installation by a user (not shown), and is therefore in intermediate positions. The railing 10 is put in place from a level below the level of the platform 9, for example the ground, which makes it possible to comply with regulatory requirements. It is also required that the railing 10 be placed on the scaffolding 1 before the platform 9 is put in place.

[049] The railing 10 comprises a frame 15 and a plurality of arms 16, 17, 18, 19, allowing the installation of the railing 10 between the uprights 5 of the two scales 2, 3. The arms 16, 17, 18, 19 are advantageously hollow, made from profiles, which have for example a rectangular section.

The railing 10 is metallic, and is advantageously made of steel, in particular stainless steel, possibly provided with a surface treatment (for example galvanization).

[051] In order to limit its weight and promote its handling, the bodyguard 10 can be obtained from an aluminum alloy.

[052] In the embodiment shown, the frame 15 comprises a first heald 20, and a second heald 21 which extend longitudinally. The heddles 20, 21 are interconnected by cross members 22 advantageously arranged vertically. The heddles 20, 21 are advantageously hollow, produced from profiles, which for example have a rectangular section. In the illustrated embodiment, the crossbars 22 are arranged at the ends 23 of the heddles 20, 21, so as to obtain a frame 15 forming a rectangular frame.

[053] In an embodiment not shown, the frame 15 comprises a single crosspiece 22, so as to limit the amount of material. The railing 10 is thus lightened, which facilitates handling by a user.

[054] In the embodiment shown, the frame 15 comprises a first arm 16, a second arm 17, a third arm 18 and a fourth arm 19, each of the arms 16, 17, 18, 19 extending longitudinally in extension of each of the heddles 20, 21. The arms 16, 17, 18, 19 have in particular the function of serving as a support for the railing 10 on the bars of the ladders 2, 3.

[055] In other embodiments, not shown, the railing 10 only comprises a first arm 16 and a second arm 17, each capable of being fixed respectively to a bar 6 upper of a first scale 2 and a bar 7 lower of a second scale 3.

[056] Commonly to all the embodiments, the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 are each arranged on either side of the frame 15, upside down, and have a vertical offset between them. In this way, the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 offer the railing 10 a fixing in two different locations, at a maximum distance from each other. In addition, the fasteners have a vertical and longitudinal offset between them, limiting the risk of pivoting of the railing 10 along a longitudinal and vertical axis, and therefore of tilting the railing. Such an arrangement is also favorable as regards the perception of security for the user.

[057] The first arm 16 and the second arm 17 each have a sufficient extension length to allow the second arm 17 to rest on a lower bar 7 of the second scale 3, and concomitantly insert the first arm 16 between the two uprights 5 of the first scale 2.

In other words, the extension length of the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 is determined to allow the railing 10 to be inserted between the two uprights 5. The first arm 16 and the second arm 17 allow the pivoting of the railing 10 by bearing via the second arm 17 on a lower bar 7 of the second scale 3, so as to position the first arm 16 in abutment on the upper bar 6 of the first scale 2.

[059] When the railing 10 is put in place, the first arm 16 is disposed on the upper bar 6 of the first scale, and the second arm 17 on the lower bar 7 of the second scale 3. Thus when the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 are fixed to scaffolding 1.

In the embodiment shown, the third arm 18 and the fourth arm 19 are disposed respectively on the same side of the frame 15 as the first arm 16 and the second arm 17. The railing 10 then has four arms 16 , 17, 18, 19, each of them being provided on either side of the frame 15. The third arms 18 and fourth arms 19 offer additional attachment points for the railing 10 on the scaffolding 1 The play between the railing 10 and the scaffolding 1 is thus limited and the fixing of the railing 10 reinforced, which reinforces the feeling of security of the user.

[061] In the embodiment shown, the third arm 18 is aligned with the first arm 16, and the fourth arm 19 is aligned with the second arm 17. More specifically, the first arm 16 and the third arm 18 are each in extension of the first heald 20, and the third arm 18 and the fourth arm 19 are in extension with the second heald 21. All the arms 16, 17, 18, 19 have an equal length. In this way, a symmetrical railing 10 is obtained which can be mounted in one direction as in the other. In this way, the railing 10 can be disposed on the scaffolding 1 in one direction as in another, which saves in installation time.

[062] In order to allow the railing 10 to be held in position on the scaffolding 1, the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 are respectively provided with a first means 24 for fixing and a second means 25 for fixation. The fastening means 24, 25 are respectively provided at the free end 26 of the first arm 16 and of the second arm 17.

[063] In the embodiment shown, the first fixing means 24 makes it possible to secure the first arm 16 (respectively the second arm 17) to a bar 6, 7 of the first scale 2 (respectively of the second scale 3), which secures the railing 10 between the first ladder 2 and the second ladder 3.

[064] Reference is made to FIGS. 7 and 8, showing in detail the fixing means 24, 25. Each of the fixing means each comprises a hooking part and a locking part.

[065] The attachment parts of the fixing means 24, 25 respectively comprise a first hook 271 and a second hook 272. The hooks 271, 272 have a curved profile and complementary to the profile of the bars 6, 7 of the scales 2, 3 .

[066] When the railing 10 is in the use position, the hook 271 is oriented downwards, and the hook 272 is oriented towards the frame 15. Such an arrangement facilitates the attachment of the first arm 16 and the second arm 17 to the respective bars 6, 7 of the first ladder 2 and of the second ladder 3. The hooks 271, 272 give the railing 10 the possibility of hanging by a movement aimed at suspending the first arm 16 from a upper bar 6 of the first scale 2, and the second arm 17 to a lower bar 7 of the second scale 3.

[067] As shown in Figure 7, the first fixing means 24 comprises a first locking member 28, pivoting relative to the first hook 271. The first locking member 28 moves between an open position, and a closed position allowing to take for example the upper bar 6 of the first scale 2 in pincers with the first hook 271 of the first fixing means 24.

The actuation of the first locking member 28 is effected by a lateral thrust in the direction of the frame 15, or in an opposite direction from the frame 15, depending on whether one wishes to put the first member 28 locking in open or closed position.

[069] The first locking member 28 incorporates an opening 29, advantageously oblong or cylindrical.

[070] Such an opening 29 allows for example the introduction of a long part, such as a pole, a rod, a rod, or the stud 13 of a diagonal 11. In this way, the actuation of the first locking member 28 is possible remotely, in particular from a level below the level of attachment of the first arm 16 on the first scale 2.

In this way, it is possible to raise the railing 10 by means of a pole inserted into the opening 29 of the first locking member 28.

[073] Advantageously, the two sides 30 each have an opening 29, so that it is possible to actuate the first member 28 for locking on both sides of the railing 10. Such an arrangement makes it possible to use so reversible the railing 10, which reduces installation times on the scaffolding 1.

[074] As shown in Figure 8, the second fixing means 25 comprises a second locking member 32, pivoting relative to the second hook 272. The second locking member 32 is oriented towards the frame 15, and is intended to hook the lower bar 7 of the second ladder 3, above. The second locking member 32 evolves between a raised position and a lowered position making it possible to take one of the bars 6, 7 of the first pincer scale with the second hook 272.

[075] The second locking member 32 comprises two plates 33 having a U shape in a longitudinal plane (when the bodyguard 10 is in the use position).

[076] The plates 33 are interconnected by a link 34, in order to allow the second arm to overlap 17. The link 34 also makes it possible to stop the rotation of the second locking arm 17 in a raised position. Such an arrangement in particular avoids tilting of the second locking member 32 during the manipulation of the railing 10 during its positioning on the scaffolding 1.

Referring to Figures 9 to 11 which show a fastening device 35, intended to be fixed to the respective end 26 of the third arm 18, and of the fourth arm 19.

[078] The attachment device 35 incorporates a movable part 36, pivotally mounted within a fixed part 37. Such an arrangement allows the attachment device 35 to move between a so-called fixing position and a so-called storage position.

[079] In the fixing position, the movable part 36 is positioned in a transverse plane allowing it to be engaged on an upright 5.

[080] In the storage position, the movable part 36 is positioned vertically, which avoids having the protruding movable part 36 of the railing. Such an arrangement is advantageous for limiting the risk of snagging, for example during the handling and storage of the railing 10.

[081] More specifically, the fixed part 37 is fitted within the third arm 18 and / or the fourth arm 19. The fixed part 37 is for example in the form of a tip of square section, complementary to the section of the third arm 18 and / or the fourth arm 19, made of thermoplastic, and provided with a hole 38, allowing the sliding of a straight section 40, like a rod, arranged to evolve within the third arm 18 and / or the fourth arm 19.

[082] The movable part 36 comprises a curved section 39, intended to be engaged with an upright 5 of one of the scales 2, 3. Thus, in the case of an upright 5 having a circular cross section, the section 39 curved has the shape of an arc of the same diameter, or a diameter substantially equivalent to the section of the upright 5.

[083] Advantageously, the curved section 39 has a lever portion 41 and a stop portion 42, which are contiguous.

[084] In the embodiment shown, the lever portion 41 extends perpendicular to the movable part 36, and the stop portion 42 is arranged at the end of the lever portion 41. In this way, it is possible to come to grip a post 5 between the stop portion 42 and the lever portion 41.

[085] More specifically, when the attachment device 35 is engaged on an upright 5, the lever portion 41 comes into contact with the upright, for example by means of a profile 43 in an arc, advantageously complementary to the cross section of the upright 5. The arcuate profile 43 is thus able to follow the contour of the upright 5, which makes it possible to limit the clearances between the scaffolding 1 and the railing 10, giving a feeling of security to the user.

[086] The stop portion 42 advantageously extends in a direction parallel to the direction of extension of the third arm 18 and / or of the fourth arm 19. The stop portion 42 has for example a plane contact surface 45 , which allows to have a punctual contact with the amount 5. An optimal cooperation is thus possible with the profile 43 in an arc to ensure the maintenance in position of the movable part 36 on the amount 5. The game is of the railing 10, when placed in position on the scaffolding 1 is then minimized, which gives the user a feeling of stability, therefore of security.

[087] In order to allow the introduction of the curved section 39 on the uprights 5, the attachment device 35 is provided with a return element 44, exerting an effort aimed at bringing the movable part 36 closer to the part 37 fixed.

[088] In the embodiment shown, the return element 44 is a compression spring, arranged between the straight section 40 and the fixed part 37.

[089] Advantageously, the fixed part 37 is provided with a contact face 45 having reliefs 46 complementary to cavities 47 arranged on a connecting surface 48 formed on the curved section 39. The cooperation between the reliefs 46, the cavities 47 and the return element 44 makes it possible to index the rotation between the fixed part 37 and the mobile part 36, which facilitates the installation of the attachment devices 35 on their upright 5 respective, and therefore of the railing 10 on the scaffolding.

[090] The scaffolding 1 furthermore comprises a means of remote manipulation of the railing 10, such as for example a pole, a cane, a rod.

[091] In the embodiment shown, the remote manipulation means is the diagonal 11 of the scaffolding 1, which is advantageous to facilitate assembly, and reduce the number of parts to be used for the installation of the guard -body 10.

[092] We now describe an example of installation of the railing 10 on the scaffolding 1 using a diagonal 11, with reference to Figures 2 to 5.

[093] Prior to any manipulation of the railing 10, the user places the first locking member 28 in the open position, the second locking member 32 in the unlocked position, and the fastening devices 35 in the storage position.

[094] The user grasps the railing 10 using his two hands, one hand being positioned on each of the heddles 20, 21.

[095] The railing 10 is held vertically, in other words the rails 20, 21 are held vertically.

[096] Such a position allows the user to then pivot the railing 10, so as to position the second arm 17 in contact with the lower bar 7 of the second scale 3.

[097] More specifically, the second arm 17 is placed against the lower bar 7 of the second scale 3.

The second arm 17 resting in abutment against the lower bar 7 of the second scale 3, the user releases one hand of the railing 10, the other hand continuing to hold the railing 10. The free hand grasps diagonal 11.

The diagonal 11 is introduced via the stud 13 within the opening 29 of the first locking member 28. Such a step is illustrated in Figure 2.

The post 13 being pressed into the opening 29, the railing 10 is raised to position the first arm 16 in contact with the upper bar 6 of the second scale 3, as shown in FIG. 3.

At the end of the lifting movement of the railing, the second arm 17 slides on the lower bar 7 of the second scale 3, as shown in FIG. 3.

The first hook 271 is hung within the upper bar 6.

Once the first hook 271 engaged within the upper bar 6, the user exerts using the diagonal 11 a push in a direction opposite to the frame 15, which has the consequence of moving the first locking member 28 in the closed position.

The first arm 16 is thus secured to the upper bar 6 of the first ladder 2. Such a situation is illustrated in FIG. 4.

The user then positions and fixes the platform 9 from below (see for example patent FR 3011262 in the name of the applicant), which makes it possible to constitute the work station at height.

The user places and secures the diagonal 11 on the side of the scaffolding 1, by inserting the studs 13 located at the end portions in the embossings 14.

Once the diagonal 11 is arranged, the railing 10 and the platform positioned, the workstation is considered to be secure, authorizing access at height to the user.

The user then climbs onto the platform 9, and manually positions the second locking member 32 in the lowered position, as well as the attachment devices 35 respectively in the attachment position, and attachment, allowing to finalize the attachment arms 17, 18, 19, and therefore the fixing of the railing 10 to the scaffolding 1. Such a step is shown in FIG. 5.

The railing 10 as described offers many advantages:

- a possibility of installation without requiring the use of additional parts other than those of the scaffolding,

- rapid installation, requiring minimal effort and low amplitude gestures for the user,

a possibility of fixing the railing 10 in a reversible manner, allowing the manipulation of a pole both for a left-handed person and for a right-handed person,

- A fixing on the scaffolding 1 having a reduced clearance, which gives a feeling of security to the user positioned on the work station.

Claims (11)

claims 1. Scaffolding railing (10) intended to be placed in a longitudinal plane between a vertical upright (5) of a first scale (2) and a second scale (3), each of the scales ( 2, 3) being provided with transverse bars (6, 7), the railing (10) comprising a frame (15), a first arm (16) substantially longitudinal connected to the frame (15), the first arm ( 16) being provided with a first fixing means (24) able to allow the first arm (16) to be hung on a bar (6, 7) of the first ladder (2), the first fixing means (24) comprising an opening (29) adapted to allow the reception of a manipulation means intended to move the railing (10) and actuate the first fixing means (24), the railing (10) comprising a second arm ( 17) substantially longitudinal connected to the frame (15), vertically offset from the first arm (16), the arms (16, 17) being arranged on either side of the frame (15), the second arm (17) being intended to rest on a bar (6, 7) of the second ladder (3) when the railing (10) is placed between the uprights (5). 2. Guardrail (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that it comprises a third arm (18) and fourth arm (19), connected to the frame (15), arranged on either side of the armature (15), respectively in the same direction as the first arm (16) and the second arm (17), having respectively a length substantially equal to the length of the first arm (16) and the second arm (17). 3. Guardrail (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that it comprises a device (35) for attachment comprising a part (37) fixed, intended to be integral with one end (26) free of the third arm (18) and / or the fourth arm (19), and a movable part (36) pivoting relative to the fixed part (37), the movable part (36) comprising a curved section (39) in the direction of the frame (15). 4. Guardrail (10) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the movable part (36) is mounted as a pivot sliding within the fixed part (37), the attachment device (35) comprising an element ( 44) in compression, disposed between the movable part (36) and the fixed part (37), the fixed part (37) being provided with a contact face (45) having reliefs (46) complementary to cavities (47) arranged on a connecting surface (48) provided on the curved section (39). 5. Guardrail (10) according to claim 3 or claim 4, characterized in that the curved section (39) comprises a profile (43) in an arc, intended to marry an upright (5), and a straight section (40) intended to come into contact with the upright (5). 6. Set including: - a railing (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, - A handling means having a dimension making it suitable for being inserted into the opening (29), the handling means allowing the movement of the railing (10) and the actuation of the first means (24) for fixing the guard -body (10). 7. Scaffolding (1) comprising a vertical upright (5) of a first scale (2), and a vertical upright (5) of a second scale (3), the ladders each comprising at least two bars (6, 7 ) extending transversely, the scaffolding (1) being characterized in that it comprises an assembly according to the preceding claim. 8. Scaffolding (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the handling means is a diagonal (11) provided with a tenon (13), the tenon (13) having a dimension smaller than the opening (29) , the diagonal (11) allowing the realization of a bracing between the uprights (5) of the first scale (2) and the second scale (3). 9. A method of placing a railing (10) in a scaffold (1) according to claim 7 or claim 8, the method comprising: a step of introducing the manipulation means into the opening (29), 5 - a step of positioning the second arm (17) on a lower bar (7) of the upright (5) of the second scale (3), so as to rest the second arm (17) on the lower bar (7) of the second scale (3), - a step of pivoting the railing (10) around the 10 second arm (17), by means of the handling means, so as to rest the first arm (16) on an upper bar (6) of the first ladder (2), a step for actuating the first fixing means (24), - a step of actuating the second fixing means (25) 15 and fastening devices (35).
