La présente invention concerne un matériau d'électrode de formule Li2+xNiuTivNbwO4 dans laquelle : 0 <x< 0.3, u>0 et w>0, x + u + v + w = 2, x + 2u + 4v + 5w = 6. La présente invention concerne également la cathode ayant pour matériau électroniquement actif ce matériau, mais aussi la batterie lithium-ion contenant cette cathode.
