The floor (5) has a main plate (51) partially covered with a textile coating (7) e.g. stretcher. A secondary plate (55) comprises a hinge forming unit that connects the secondary plate to a front edge (53) of the main plate. The hinge forming unit is formed by the textile coating. A return unit comprises an elastic bond (9) which presents an end fixed under the main plate and another end fixed under the secondary plate. The elastic bond is stretched when the secondary plate is in an inclined position to exert force that returns the secondary plate to a folded position. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a backrest.

Description

Motor vehicle boot floor having a folding secondary plate and a motor vehicle having such a boot floor Some vehicles have a large boot located at the rear of the seats and / or the rear seat. As this type of vehicle is intended to carry bulky objects, the seats and / or the rear seat are provided with a folding backrest on the seat. The rear seats can be formed by a bench seat, individual seats, or a bench and seat juxtaposed. For the sake of simplification, the generic term "back seat" will be used later in the application. The floor of the trunk is formed of a main plate, which covers the part of the trunk located behind the rear seats, and a secondary plate which is pivotally mounted on the front edge of the main plate, which is located behind the seats back. This secondary plate is movable between an inclined position and a folded position. In the inclined position, the secondary plate 15 is disposed against the rear face of the rear seat backrest, the backrest of the latter being in the position of use, that is to say substantially vertical and therefore, not folded over the seated. In addition to the aesthetic appearance that provides this secondary plate, it also prevents the passage of small objects and / or dust on the back of the folder. As the seat is often mounted movable in translation on the floor of the passenger compartment, the intrusion of small objects could damage the seat or hinder its movement on the floor of the passenger compartment. When the seat back is folded over the seat, the plate is placed in the folded position in which it forms a flat surface and continuous with the main plate. The chest is thus further enlarged and the surface of its floor being flat, it is easy to store many objects. The articulation of the secondary plate is implemented by means of metal hinges, mounted on the front edge of the main plate and on the edge of the secondary plate disposed opposite the aforementioned front edge. These hinges are provided with springs which hold the secondary plate in the folded position. When unfolding the seatback, the seatback pushes the secondary plate towards the main plate and keeps it in an inclined position exerting a force greater than that exerted by the springs of the hinges.

This type of floor is heavy and expensive to manufacture because of the use of the aforementioned special hinges. An object of the present invention is therefore to provide a motor vehicle floor of the aforementioned type which is less heavy and less expensive to manufacture. In order to solve this problem, the present invention proposes a trunk floor of a motor vehicle comprising at least one rear seat, said floor comprising, in known manner: a main plate, covered at least partially with a covering textile and which has a front edge, adapted to be disposed behind said rear seat, when said main plate is mounted in said vehicle; at least one secondary plate which comprises hinge means which connect it to said front edge of said main plate and through which said secondary plate is pivotally mounted between a folded position in which it forms a plane with said main plate and an inclined position, in which it is able to bear against the rear face of said rear seat; and - return means reminding said secondary plate in said folded position, whereby said rear seat being of the type comprising a backrest that can be folded over the seat, said secondary plate is able to follow the movement of said backrest of said seat . According to the invention, said hinge means are formed by said textile covering which covers said secondary plate and connects it to said main plate and said return means comprise at least one elastic link which has a first end fixed under said main plate and a second end fixed under said secondary plate and which is tensioned when said secondary plate is in said inclined so as to exert on said secondary plate a force which brings it back into said folded position. The textile coating is not limited according to the invention. This may be the carpet that covers the entire floor.

The embodiment of the link is not limited according to the invention. It may be an elastic textile band, a tensor or a spiral spring, for example. The mode of attachment of the link is not limited. The ends of the link can be attached to hooks secured to the plates. According to one embodiment, said link is stapled under said main plate and under said secondary plate. In this way, the setting of the link is quickly implemented, at a lower cost. The present invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one rear seat, a trunk located behind said rear seat, and a floor which comprises: a main plate, at least partially covered with a textile covering and which has an edge before, disposed behind said rear seat; At least one secondary plate which comprises hinge means which connect it to said front edge of said main plate and through which said secondary plate is pivotally mounted between a folded position in which it forms a plane with said main plate and an inclined position, in which it is able to bear against the rear face of said rear seat; and - return means reminding said secondary plate in said folded position, whereby said rear seat being of the type comprising a folder that can be folded down on the seat, said secondary plate is able to follow the movement of said folder. According to the invention, said hinge means are formed by said textile covering which covers said secondary plate and connects it to said main plate and said return means comprise at least one elastic link which has a first end fixed under said main plate and a second end, fixed under said secondary plate and which is tensioned when said secondary plate is in an inclined position so as to exert on said secondary plate a force which brings it back into said folded position. According to one embodiment, said link is stapled under said main plate and under said secondary plate.

Other features and advantages of the invention will appear on reading the description, given below, of a particular embodiment of the invention, given by way of indication but not limitation, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 shows a partial view in longitudinal section of an embodiment of a vehicle according to the invention, the secondary plate being in an inclined position; - Figure 2 shows the embodiment of Figure 1, the plate being in the folded position; and - Figure 3 shows, in more detail, a partial view of the main plate and the secondary plate, the latter being in an inclined position. Figure 1 shows a particular embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment, the vehicle comprises a box 1 which comprises a surface portion 11, substantially flat, disposed at the trunk and a disbursement which forms a recess relative to the flat surface portion 11 and in which is mounted l seat 2 of the rear seat or rear seat. The seat 2 has an upper face 21 which is parallel to the flat surface portion 11 and which is substantially flush with the latter. The rear seat comprises a backrest 3 which can be arranged in a position of use, shown in Figure 1, or in a folded position, shown in Figure 2. In the position of use, the backrest is substantially vertical and therefore substantially perpendicular to the seat 2, while in the folded position, the backrest 3 is disposed horizontally, folded over the seat 2, its rear face being substantially horizontal.

With reference to FIG. 1, the floor 5 of the invention is disposed above the flat surface portion 11 of the box 1. This floor 5 comprises a main plate 51, which is disposed above the portion of flat surface 11 of the body 1, at the trunk and away from the body 1, so as to form a storage space 6, between the body and the main plate 51. The main plate 51 has a front edge 53 disposed behind the backrest 3 of the rear seat. The floor 5 also comprises a secondary plate 55 smaller. This secondary plate 55 has a fixing edge 57 which is arranged facing the front edge 53 of the main plate 51 and which is parallel to the latter. The secondary plate 55 also has a free edge 58, opposite to the fixing edge 57, and which extends along the width of the floor, which corresponds to the width of the vehicle. A textile 7, for example a carpet, covers the main plate 51 and the secondary plate 55. This carpet 7 is fixed on the main and secondary plates 51 and 55. It can be, for example, glued on the two plates. The carpet 7 connects the main plate 51 and the secondary plate 55 and acts as a hinge. To do this, there is a slight gap between the fixing edge 57 and the front edge 53 to allow the carpet 7 to bend. An elastic link 9 connects the main plate 51 and the secondary plate 55. This link is fixed under the plates 51 and 55 and will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. 3. In FIG. 1, the secondary plate 55 is in position. inclined position. In this position, the backrest 3 is in the use position. The dashed lines 15 indicate an intermediate position of the secondary plate 55, located between the inclined position and the folded position. In Figure 2, the backrest 3 is folded over the seat 1 and the secondary plate 55 is in its folded position. In this configuration, the secondary plate 55 forms a flat and continuous surface with the main plate 51 and covers a portion of the rear face of the backrest 3. The folded backrest 3 can also serve as a transport surface, thus maximizing the floor area of the trunk. The carpet 7 remains flat even at the connection of the two plates 51 and 55. In Figure 3, the secondary plate 55, in an inclined position, is shown in solid lines. The dashed lines are the secondary plate 55, in the folded position. As shown in FIG. 3, the leading edge 53 and the fixing edge 57 are spaced along the length of the floor (and hence the length of the vehicle) and are therefore not in contact with each other. A strip 71 of carpet 7, of dimension e, measured along the length of the floor connects the front edge 53 to the fixing edge 57. This strip 71 of carpet 7 is not adhered to any of the plates 51 and 55 and can therefore be fold to form a hinge. The main plate 51 has a thickness H1 substantially equal to the thickness H2 of the secondary plate 55. The thickness of each of the plates 51 and 55 may be, for example, of the order of 5 mm. The two plates 51 and 55 may be of wood. The front edges 53 and fixing 57 have a bevelled edge. The face of the main plate 51 and the secondary plate 55 which is covered with carpet 7 is longer (depending on the longitudinal dimension of the vehicle) than the face which is oriented towards the body 1. This makes it easier to mount the plate secondary 55 and avoid any contact between the front edge 53 and the fixing edge 57. The elastic link 9 is in this case a link of elastically deformable material, of the rubber type, for example, and is stapled io under the two main and secondary plates 51 and 55, respectively. This link 9 is, for example, a tensor. The link 9 has a first end 91 stapled under the main plate 51, between the body 1 and the lower face of the main plate 51. The second end 93 of the link 9 is stapled on the lower face of the secondary plate 55. The link 9 extends longitudinally 15 to the floor and therefore to the vehicle. When the secondary plate 55 is in the folded position, the link 9 is not necessarily energized. It can even form a loop under the two plates 51 and 55. It is preferably tense for congestion issues. When the secondary plate 55 is in an inclined position, the link 9 is stretched or subjected to a higher tension due to the thickness H1 and H2 of the two main and secondary plates 51 and 55, in the tension zone ZT. The voltage zone ZT corresponds to the link portion 9 located between the slices of the two plates 51 and 55, spaced from one another by pivoting at an axis of rotation X, transverse to the floor. The X axis is located substantially in the strip 71 of carpet 7 serving as hinge. It follows that a return force F is exerted by the link at the voltage zone ZT. This force F does not pass through the pivot axis X of the two plates 51 and 55 and is parallel to the link 9. The force F is oriented towards the main plate 51 and therefore tends to bring the secondary plate 55 into the folded position.

The mode of operation of the above embodiment will now be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. In the position of use of the rear seat, the secondary plate 55 is in an inclined position as shown in FIG. wants to use his trunk to transport bulky objects, it folds the backrest 3 on the seat 2. The secondary plate 55 is, in an inclined position, subjected to the aforementioned force F which plate against the rear face of the backrest 3 and tends to bring it back to the folded position. When the backrest 3 folds, the secondary plate 55, under the effect of the force F, follows the movement of the backrest 3 and folds towards the body 1. When the backrest 3 is fully folded on the seat, the secondary plate 55 is in the folded position, forming a flat surface with the main plate 51. The link 9 is at rest or subject to a significant voltage than that existing in the inclined position of the secondary plate 55. When the user submits the file 3 in its upright position of use, it pushes the secondary plate 55 at the same time as the backrest 3 (because the latter remains in support or against the rear face of the backrest 3 in the two inclined and folded positions, particularly when the link 9 is stretched in the folded position of the secondary plate 55). The secondary plate 55 then passes in an inclined position, the backrest 3, set in motion by the user, pulling on the link 9. When the backrest 3 is locked in the vertical position, it serves as a stop and holds the secondary plate 55 in position. inclined position. The link 9 keeps the secondary plate 55 against the back of the backrest providing a perfect aesthetic and preventing the intrusion of objects or other between the backrest 3 and the body 1.
