Abstract

The method involves displacing a bonnet structure (4A) by pivoting and sliding a female part i.e. slot (6B), of an articulation unit (6) on a male part of the articulation unit, where the female part forms a rotational axle (6A) carried by a body shell of a vehicle, and the male element is carried by the bonnet structure. The bonnet structure is displaced towards back, when the bonnet structure passes from a closing position of a boot to an open position. An independent claim is also included for a unit for displacing a bonnet structure of a boot mounted on a vehicle.

PROCEDE DE DEPLACEMENT D'UN CAPOT DE VEHICULE. L'invention se rapporte aMETHOD FOR MOVING A VEHICLE HOOD The invention relates to

un procédé de déplacement d'une structure de capot d'une malle arrière montée, par exemple, sur un véhicule à toit rétractable. Elle se rapporte également aux moyens pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé ainsi qu'au 5 véhicule à toit rétractable pourvu des dits moyens. La malle arrière d'un véhicule s'ouvre généralement par pivotement du capot qui la ferme. La structure du capot pivote donc autour d'une partie mâle guidant en rotation une parie femelle. Un point du capot distant de l'axe d'une valeur R va donc décrire un arc de cercle de rayon R. 10 Dans certains cas et en particulier d'un véhicule à toit rétractable, il faut prendre garde des interférences entre les déplacements du capot et du toit. L'arrière du véhicule est équipé d'une malle 3 fermé par un capot 4. Ce capot est ici représenté par une structure 4A de capot et un couvercle 4B articulé sur la structure de capot mais il pourrait s'agir d'un couvercle fixé sur la structure comme on le rencontre souvent. L'articulation 12 du couvercle 4B est placée à l'arrière de la structure 4A du capot afm 10 que le couvercle puisse s'ouvrir de l'avant vers l'arrière afm de loger le toit rétractable sous le dit couvercle (figure 3 et 4). Cette structure de capot est associée à la caisse du véhicule par un moyen 6 d'articulation, ce moyen d'articulation comprenant une partie mâle 6A formant un axe de rotation porté par la caisse du véhicule et une partie femelle 6B portée par la 15 structure de capot. Comme on peut le voir sur l'exemple de véhicule représenté, l'articulation est située entre le bord avant de la malle et le bord arrière du toit. En outre, elle est positionnée à un niveau situé plus haut que celui de la face supérieure du capot. Avantageusement, le déplacement du capot se fait à la fois par pivotement et par 20 glissement de la partie femelle sur la partie mâle. Par glissement, on comprendra une translation. On voit notamment aux figures 3 et 4 que la lumière 6B se déplace à la fois en rotation sur l'axe 6A et en translation. Dans l'exemple illustré, le recul maximum de la structure du capot est obtenu au voisinage de l'angle d'ouverture de la figure 4. Dans la pratique, on choisira l'orientation de la biellette de telle sorte que le déplacement maximum de la structure de capot par rapport au tronçon d'axe mâle 15 s'effectue au moment où il y a un risque d'interférence entre le capot et le toit ou une autre pièce fixe ou mobile. Le recul maximum sera obtenu lorsque l'axe longitudinal de la biellette sera aligné avec l'axe de la lumière. Pour optimiser le mouvement de déplacement la lumière pourra avoir des formes courbes.
