Abstract

The handle consists of a horizontal ring or loop (2) dimensioned to fit around the base portion of the flexible container, with a top support arm (3) connected to the loop by a vertical upright (1). The upright is parallel to a vertical wall of the container and spaced from it to define a lifting handle. One side (4) of the loop includes an open portion to allow insertion of the container. The top support arm is shaped to engage in and retain a projection or fold of the upper part of the container. The loop and arm may be configured in different ways to fit particular types of container.
