Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé de préparation simultanée et en continu de sels de peroxodisulfate de métal alcalin ou peroxodisulfate d'ammonium et d'hydroxyde de métal alcalin. L'étape électrolytique du procédé est effectuée dans une cellule d'électrolyse à trois sections (1), dont la section centrale (3) est alimentée en sulfate de métal alcalin, la section anodique (4) étant alimentée en sulfate d'ammonium et/ou en métal alcalin, et la section cathodique (2) étant alimentée en eau ou en hydroxyde de métal alcalin dilué. Un courant continu est dirigé à travers la cellule d'électrolyse (1), les ions sulfate passant alors dans la section anodique (4) et étant oxydés en ions peroxodisulfate, tout en formant du peroxodisulfate de métal alcalin ou d'ammonium, qui peut être isolé par cristallisation, les ions de métal alcalin passant dans la section cathodique (2) en y formant de l'hydroxyde de métal alcalin.
