Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un élément de déformation. Un élément de déformation comporte une poutre creuse (1) et un membre (2) de déformation ayant un diamètre plus faible, destiné à se retourner, sous l'action d'une force, vers l'intérieur de la poutre creuse, s'appuyant à sa face frontale sur la poutre creuse (1) par l'intermédiaire d'une bride (4) dirigée radialement vers l'extérieur; le membre (2) de déformation se resserre de façon conique au fur et à mesure qu'il s'éloigne de la poutre creuse (1); en outre, la poutre creuse (1) est réalisée sous forme d'une poutre de voilement par plissage s'appuyant, à l'état déformé, par au moins un pli (9) sur la périphérie du membre (2) de déformation retourné vers l'intérieur. Domaine d'application: notamment industrie automobile.
