Abstract

The bulb 6 of this projector and its reflector 7 are placed in a support 10 which can be introduced or extracted through the front hole of the jacket 1 used to accommodate the whole. This support 10 is provided with elastic fastening means which interact with complementary retention means provided on the inner wall of the jacket 1. Now, these complementary means are arranged so that the bulb 6 and its reflector 7 can be immobilised in positions that are set back to a greater or lesser extent with respect to the front opening of the jacket 1. Preferably, the front opening of the jacket 1 is closed by a closure glass 15 carried by a hoop 16 provided with elastic claws which allow its removable fastening. Under these conditions, the bulb is easy to remove without having to retract the jacket 1 from its housing. This lamp 4 is more especially intended to be flush-fitted behind a false ceiling, or a partition wall or the like.
