Abstract

Automatically operating medical chair, of the type comprising, on the one hand, a mechanism for adjusting the inclination of the backrest, the seat and the footrest with respect to each other and, on the other hand, a mechanism for adjusting the height position of the three preceding elements, characterised in that the said chair is composed of a base which can move on castors, on which there is mounted a parallelogram system which can be deformed under the action of a first thruster determining the height of the said seat, and one side of which itself carries a frame on which the elements of the said seat are hinged, the relative displacements of which elements are controlled by a second thruster which is independent from the first.

La présente invention concerne un nouveau fauteuil médical à fonctionnement automatique, du type comportant d'une part un mécanisme de réglage de l'inclinaison du dossier, de l'assise et de l'appuie-pieds les uns par rapport aux autres et d'autre part un mécanisme de réglage de la position en hauteur des trois éléments précédents. Medical chair with automatic operation, of the type comprising on the one hand a mechanism for adjusting the inclination of the backrest, the seat and the footrest relative to each other and on the other hand a mechanism for adjusting the height position of the three preceding elements, characterized in that said chair consists of a movable base on casters, on which is mounted a system of deformable parallelogram under the action of a first jack determining the height of said seat, and one side of which itself carries a chassis on which the elements of said seat are articulated, the relative movements of which are controlled by a second jack independent of the first.

Chair according to claim 1, characterized in that said relative movements determine the different relative positions of said elements, namely the seat, the backrest, the footrest, between a first extreme position, in which the patient can take place in s simply leaning against the seat, and a second extreme position, in which the patient is completely lying horizontally.

3. Chair according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that mechanical means are provided so that, in the second extreme position, the backrest is folded backwards beyond the horizontal, to facilitate the work of the practitioner.
