Abstract

Device making it possible to join and fasten a power saw to a log container leading to a rapid, straight, and entirely safe sawing of the said logs. This assembly comprises an original system for fastening a power saw allowing movement along four axes. The invention may be used for sawing wood for industrial or individual purposes.

Description

ADAPTATION OF A MOTORIZED SAW ON A CONTAINER
FOR SCIA OF PUCHES
The present invention allows users of firewood or the like to cut quickly and under excellent safety conditions a group of hinds with the various desired lengths.

 Different chainsaw fixing systems are already known and adapted to bridge-type devices which only allow sawing one log at a time.

Other known devices make it possible to group the logs but do not include a chainsaw fixing system or sawing device.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to avoid these various drawbacks. In this one, the cutting of multiple logs placed in the container is certainly of equal length, safe and fast.

 The present invention, the following description of which is a non-limiting embodiment, is a container No. 7 composed of tubular or profiled frames resting on 4 feet to obtain an average working height. These frames are connected to each other by spacers and support a mechanical saw.

 Different manufacturing methods of the invention are described below by way of non-limiting examples with reference to the figures of the accompanying drawings.

 - Figures 1 and 2 show an apparatus, the fixing of the chain saw is ensured by the bracket n 1 comprising the rings no 3 sliding on the axis n 4. The axis n 4 ending at each end by a pin 5 enables the mechanical assembly to be engaged in the slideways 6 of the container and ensures all the movements necessary for sawing: rotation, lateral movement, longitudinal oscillation and descent to obtain the simultaneous cutting of formwork.

 To obtain the different cutting lengths, the axis is released at the base of the slides, resting on the stops no. 20 and the chainsaw is again engaged in the desired compartment at the top.

 the arm 17 allows the chainsaw to move forwards and backwards as well as lateral movement by sliding on the axis 19.

 To obtain the sawing in the different boxes of the device, it is necessary to move the arm backwards to release the saw blade from the compartment where it is engaged.

- Ia Figure 6 plate IV shows an extension in the two central frames of the device to allow the logs curved to be thus placed, the upper central position facilitating cutting without clamping the blade
- On these different devices, we replace the chain saw represented by any other type of circular or circular saw.

Claims (5)
