Abstract

The invention relates to a system for cleaning a W.C. bowl. According to the invention, this system comprises a hose 6, branched onto the supply circuit of the water tank of the said bowl, which hose is provided with a means 5 for controlling the supply and is equipped at its free end with a spraying nozzle 7 or the like.

Description

 Water closet bowl cleaning system.

 The present invention relates to a system for cleaning the bowls of water closets (for short, hereinafter, W.C.).

 We know how unpleasant it is to clean toilet bowls using small brooms or similar devices provided for this purpose, and it is to this drawback that the invention aims to remedy, by replacing brooms or other utensils cleaning manuals a water jet cleaning system.

 To this end, the subject of the invention is a system for cleaning a water closet bowl, characterized in that it comprises, mounted as a bypass on the supply circuit of the water tank of said bowl, a flexible conduit provided with a supply control means and equipped at its free end with a projection nozzle or the like.

 Advantageously, said flexible conduit will be connected in diversion to a simple fitting provided for this purpose on the barrier valve of the toilet bowl This will allow rapid assembly and disassembly of the flexible conduit without special tools, with the possibility of possibly cutting the supply of water to said flexible conduit by said barrier valve.

 Advantageously, a means for injecting an antiseptic product into the water will be placed on the feed tube of the flexible conduit, so as to disinfect the tank at the same time as it is cleaned.

 As a variant, a tablet of a water-soluble disinfectant product, of any shape, can be placed at a point in the piping, for example in the flexible duct or, advantageously, in the spray nozzle, which will be provided then removable.

 As can be seen in FIG. 1, between the pipe 1 for supplying water to a toilet tank from the toilet and the connection fitting for this pipe 1 to the tank, a barrier valve 3 is usually interposed.

 According to the invention, as shown in FIG. 2, a pipe 4 fitted with a tap 5, with automatic flow interruption after a determined time, is mounted as a bypass on the tap 3. At this pipe 4 is connected a flexible tube 6, the free end of which is provided with a projection nozzle 7.

 To clean the toilet bowl, simply activate the tap 5 and use the nozzle 7 to spray a jet of water inside the louvette.

 It will be noted that the flexible conduit 6 can be mounted on the conduit 4 and be disassembled therefrom without any particular tool and that the tap 3 makes it possible to interrupt, if necessary, the supply of water to the conduit 6.

 Of course, many modifications can be made thereto without departing from the scope of the invention. Thus, for example, the tap 5 could be omitted, the flexible tube 6 then being connected directly by a connector on the conduit 4 and a tap being provided on the flexible tube just before the nozzle 7.

 FIG. 3, in which the members already described retain the same references, represents an advantageous variant of this implementation of the invention. In this embodiment, in fact, a reservoir 8 of a disinfectant product, provided with an injection means, is interposed between the tap 5 and the flexible conduit 6. Each time the device is used, the disinfectant product is thus mixed with the jet water from nozzle 7, in order to perfectly clean the toilet bowl

 For the same purpose, it is possible to have a pellet of a water-soluble disinfectant product inside the piping, at any point of the latter. Advantageously, this pellet, the shape and nature of which can be absolutely arbitrary, can be housed in the nozzle 7, provided, of course, that the latter is removable.

 It is clear that the system according to the invention is inexpensive and easy to mount on the WC sets. It therefore provides an advantageous solution to the problem posed by cleaning the W.E.

 1.- Cleaning system of water closet bowl, characterized in that it comprises, mounts in diversion on the supply circuit of the water tank of said bowl, a flexible conduit (6), provided with a supply control means (5) and equipped at its free end with a projection nozzle (7) or the like.  2.- cleaning system according to claim 1, characterized in that said flexible conduit (6) is connected to a fitting (4) mounted in bypass on the barrier valve of the toilet bowl.  3.- cleaning system according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that a means (8) for injecting a disinfectant into the water is disposed on the supply pipe of the flexible pipe ( 6)  4.- cleaning system according to one of claims I and 2, characterized in that it comprises means for accommodating a pellet of a water-soluble disinfectant product in said flexible conduit (6) or in the connection (4) for connection thereof.  5.- cleaning system according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said spray nozzle (7) is removable and capable of receiving a pellet of a water-soluble disinfectant.
