Abstract

The hygienic accessory for the bowl of a lavatory comprises a bidet attachment which consists of a directionable tepid water jet (6) secured to one side (1) of the lavatory bowl (2). The jet (6) includes a section (4) one end of which is joined to a conduit and the other end of which carries an adjustable nozzle. The jet is fed from a reservoir (9) containing a resistance heating element (10), a thermostat (11) and a valve (17) actuated from the exterior of the bowl (2).
