Abstract

The sink unit has two basins which are different not only by their length on the top surface of the sink but also by their depth. The wash basin (1) is short but relatively deep while the rinsing and draining basin (2) is long but relatively shallow. A work top (4) pivots to close one and/or the other basin. The unit has a pipe (6) by which the rinse basin empties into the wash basin while a mobile water sprinkler (17) has a flexible lead (18) to reach above any part of the rinsing surface.

4. Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a cutting board (37) fixed on the underside of one (27) of said flaps, foldable horizontally on another (28) of said parts of the work plan.

5. Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises removable partitions (22) across the rinsing tank.

6. Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the rinsing tank has a bottom inclined sloping towards the bottom of the washing tank and provided with ribs of progressively increasing thickness together forming a surface substantially horizontal discontinuous support.

7. Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that it further comprises a hob that can be folded down on a part of the rinsing tank, under the worktop.

Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the rinsing tank is arranged in length in the extension of the washing tank and in that said flaps are arranged so that it suffices to fold one of them (27) on the work surface to provide access to the two tanks (1,2) over the intermediate wall (7).

Kitchen unit according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the sink occupies three quarters of a square on the surface, the rinsing tank being elongated perpendicularly at an angle relative to the washing tank, and in that there is provided an additional tray aliongé along the trays behind them.
