Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif qui utilise l'augmentation volumétrique d'un liquide, suite à sa dilatation, pour transformer l'énergie thermique en énergie mécanique. Un ou plusieurs cylindres-moteurs, munis chacun d'un piston, contiennent un liquide dont le coefficient de dilatation est élevé Ce liquide, soumis à des cycles de chauffage et de refroidissement, transmet, par l'intermédiaire des pistons, l'énergie considérable engendrée par l'augmentation de volume, à des systèmes mécaniques. Ce principe trouve ses principales applications dans le chauffage et la climatisation des immeubles, des habitations individuelles et collectives, la climatisation des véhicules automobiles, la réfrigération, la production d'air comprimé, la construction de centrales électriques.
