Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate energy loss and prevent occurrence of accidental hazard by the cold, by using a freezing medium such as LNG as city gas or fuel for generators after utilizing the cold (latent heat + sensible heat) of the freezing medium sufficiently.
CONSTITUTION: LNG or the like from heat-insulated freezing-medium tank 10 is compressed to a high pressure by freezing-medium pump 11, cooled by heat exchanger 12, and gasified through heat exchanging with working fluid in three- fluids heat exchanger 32 and radiator 31 of heat engine. Then, it is supplied to a power plant or used for auxiliary heating of heating and reserving tank 15. On the other hand, freezing medium vaporized in tank 10 is carried through conduit 13 via tank 18, pump 19 and heat exchanger 38 and supplied to places where it is utilized. However, most of the freezing medium is carried into heat exchanger type heat accumulator 23 under a high pressure after cooling the compressed working fluid of heat engine at heat exchanger 30, and gives cold to a freezing system. Then, it is heated at heat exchanger 25 in a heating system and supplied thereafter via, for instance, conduit 20 so as to be used as city gas or the like.
