Abstract

1536437 Motors operated by heat expansion of liquids AMERICAN SOLAR KING CORP 2 Aug 1976 [12 Aug 1975 31 March 1976] 32109/76 Heading F1S A motor operated by heat expansion of liquids comprises a number of heat exchangers 20 through one side of which is fed a liquid working fluid via lines 92 and through the other side of which is fed alternately a hot liquid, e.g. water, from a pump 50, via valves 36 and lines 30, and a cold liquid, e.g. water, via valves 34 and the lines 30, the resultant, expansion and contraction of the working fluid due to such heating and cooling being utilized in hydraulic cylinders forming part of a swash-plate motor 100 to which the working fluid is delivered.
