Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve energy efficiency of heat exchange, by arranging a pressure booster in one of a delivering circuit and a discharge circuit depending on the pressure of a heat transfer fluid within a heat exchanger and also arranging in the other circuit a hydraulic motor connected with a pressure booster driving shaft thereby simplifying the adjustment of liquid surface level.
CONSTITUTION: Casings 1a, 1b are connected by a piping 22 in which a pressure booster pump 24 that is driven by a motor 23 is interposed. A decompression apparatus or a hydraulic motor 30 is located in another piping 25 which connects the casing 1a and 1b, the hydraulic motor 30 and the pump 24 are connected through a variable speed regulator 32, a liquid surface hight within the casing 1b is detected by a liquid surface control apparatus 33, and according to its hight the speed change ratio is caused to be varied to keep the liquid surface level within the casing constant. In this construction, if there is a change in pressure difference between the two liquids, the adjustment of the liquid surface level can be carried out simply, and the power can be recovered by the decompression apparatus to improve the energy efficiency.
