Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for the power from a separate system to drive both a circulating pump and a stirrer as well as automate the medium-circulating control, by driving the circulating pump and the stirrer in a heat-accumulating chamber by means of the adiabatic expansion work at an expander.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collector 1 is connected to a radiator 5 in a heat-accumulating chamber 2 by means of a piping 4, while the radiator 5 is connected to a pump 3 by means of a piping 6, and said pump 3 to the heat collector 1 by means of a piping 7, to constitute a closed loop for the circulation of a medium. The piping 4 leading to said radiator 5 is provided with an expander 11 comprising a turbine, and a turbine shaft 12 is connected to both the circulating pump 3 and a stirrer 13 in the heat-accumulating chamber 2 so that they are driven by means of the power generated in said turbine.
