Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize the boiler capacity by employing air cooling heat pump type chiller unit as auxiliary source at the solar heat utilizing hot water system.
CONSTITUTION: Air cooling heat pump type chiller unit 20 consists of air compressor 1, four-way valve 2, water cooling condenser 3, air side heat exchanger 4 and water side heat exchanger 5, etc., and among them, water cooling condenser 3 is connected in series with solar heat collector 13, low temp. hot water tank 11 and circulation pump 12. At cooling operation, coolant flows thru air compressor 1, four-way valve 2, water cooling condenser 3, decompression valve 6, water side heat exchanger 5, four-way valve 2 and air compressor 1 as shown by arrow A. In addition, when the system is used for hot water feeder, coolant flows from water cooling condenser 3 to heat exchanger 4 as shown by arrow C, and during that time, water is heated at condenser 3. At space heating operation, coolant flows from heat exchanger 5 to heat exchanger 4 and does not flow thru condenser 3 as shown by arrow B.
