Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize efficiency of Rankine cycle by enabling to keep constant pressure ratio of before and after the turbine in a system of recovering power from Rankine cycle of mixed heat medium utilizing cold heat source of LNG available at regassification of LNG.
CONSTITUTION: LNG in the storage 1 is pumped by a pump 2 and raised its temperature by exchanging heat with turbine exhaust gas in a heat exchanger 7, then with sea water in heat exchanger 3 respectively, and is sent to users after evaporation. On the other hand, heat medium in a separator 13 is pressurized by a pump 14, and after exchanging heat with exhaust gas in heat exchanger 7 and with sea water in heat exchanger 19 reapectively and raised its temperature, is sent to turbine 12 to perform work. In those operation LNG temperature at the exit of the heat exchanger 7 is detected by temperature controller instrument 27, and its output and the output of turbine exhaust pressure transmitter 21 are used to control turbine control valve 25, through the controller 24.
